Veil of Acanthus
Deep plum and violet emerge through luminous layers of pearl, ivory, and pale blue, softened by whispers of sage and blush. Elongated gestures suggest an organic unfolding, their edges dissolving beneath delicate veils of colour. Scraped passages and textured marks reveal fragments of earlier layers, giving the surface a quiet sense of history.
Veil of Acanthus holds a gentle tension between richness and restraint, concealment and emergence. Its spacious light invites the eye to linger, discovering beauty in what is only partially revealed.
